Camps We Partner With

Alana believed in the power of horses to heal, teach, and bring joy. In her honor, Alana Grace’s Galloping Foundation sponsors children to attend three horse camps that reflect those same values. With two camps in West Virginia and one in Florida, these programs allow children to experience confidence, connection, and personal growth in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Take a moment to read about each camp and discover which experience feels like the right fit for your child.

Canter Point Stables, Charles Town WV

Canter Point Stables offers a week long horse camp that focuses on building a strong foundation in horsemanship and riding skills.

Campers learn the basics of horse care, including grooming, tacking, identifying horse body parts, and stable care. Riding instruction takes place in the arena, where campers develop confidence and technique throughout the week.

The camp experience concludes with a special end of week show, giving campers the opportunity to demonstrate their new skills for parents and caregivers.

Half day camps are available for children ages 5 and up, held from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Campers need to bring a packed lunch, a refillable water bottle, and a change of clothes for creek activities.

Families must provide their own transportation to and from camp.
